Challenge
As a part of LUÜNA naturals’ mission to create access to healthy period care, LUÜNA naturals collaborates with businesses and educational institutions across Asia to implement policies around menstrual wellness at work and school. Alongside providing educational programs, LUÜNA naturals is dedicated to enabling offices and schools to offer provisions of free period products to their staff and students. LUÜNA naturals needed to create a seamless distribution system for period products that is both functional and aesthetic.
KacePack designed LUÜNA naturals’ period care dispensers and produced 3D printed production units that are installed in offices and schools across Asia
Solution
KacePack worked with LUÜNA naturals to create a completely custom solution to store and dispense LUÜNA naturals’ tampons and period pads. KacePack produced a functioning prototype in one week and provided support to LUÜNA naturals from concept through to production. The initial production run, completed within 6 months of initial conception, produced by KacePack’s in-house 3D printing facility, enabled the team to finetune the design after real-world testing, avoiding upfront costs usually required in mass-production.
The LUÜNA period product dispensers have been rolled out to over 100 locations ranging from the world’s largest financial institutions to global brands, SMEs, and a variety of educational institutions.

14 months since the launch of the LUÜNA naturals’ A Better Period project, the dispensers have provided access to healthy period care products to over 20,000 people in offices and school bathrooms across Asia.
